Privacy Policy

Effective 3 November 2026 · Last updated 3 November 2026

This policy covers the games published by DevByte ("we", "us") on Google Play, including One Stroke and Tilt Drop, and this website, devbyte.dev (together, the "Services").

The short version. We don't collect any personal data. There's no login, no account and no sign-up. Your progress is stored only on your device. Our free games show ads from Google AdMob, and Google may process some device data to serve those ads, as explained in section 3.

1. Who we are

DevByte is an independent game studio based in India and the developer of the Services. Contact: support@devbyte.dev.

2. What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Our games have no login or accounts, and they don't ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, location or any other personal information. We don't run our own analytics or tracking in our games, and we have no servers that receive your game data.

  • Game progress and settings are saved locally on your device. We can't see them, and they're deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its storage.
  • If you email us, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

3. Ads by Google

Our games are free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC), including banner ads and optional rewarded ads (for example, watching an ad to get a hint or undo a move). We don't receive personal data from these ads.

To show, limit and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's ads SDK may process device information such as the advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device type and ad interactions. Google handles this under its own policies:

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message lets you choose whether ads may be personalised, and you can change this later from the game's settings.

4. Sharing

We don't collect personal data, so we have none to sell, rent or share. The only third party involved in our games is Google AdMob, as described above.

5. Your choices & rights

  • Reset or delete your advertising ID: Settings › Privacy › Ads (or Settings › Google › Ads) on Android.
  • Change ad consent: where offered, from the game's settings.
  • Delete game data: uninstall the game or clear its storage. See Delete your data.
  • Your rights: depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 or the EU/UK GDPR), you can ask us about, correct or delete any data we hold, such as a support email. Write to support@devbyte.dev; we reply within 30 days.

6. Children

Our games are made for a general audience aged 13 and over, and are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you're a parent or guardian with a question, contact support@devbyte.dev.

7. Security

Because we don't collect personal data, there's very little to protect on our side. Ad traffic handled by Google and this website are encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

8. This website

devbyte.dev has no login, no cookies, no analytics and no ads, and its fonts are served from our own domain. It's hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site.
